Please join your instructor, Joyce Palmer, for an upcoming educational event. Using her vast knowledge of financial planning, she has designed this course to give you the important information you need to properly prepare for your retirement.

JULY SESSION: Why Women Must Understand Long-Term Care — July 8th @ 12 PM
What We Will Discuss:
When we picture retirement, we think of travel and relaxation—not healthcare. But ignoring long-term care is a massive blindspot, especially for women.
The Realities Women Face:
- Longevity: Women outlive men by about 5 years on average, meaning they are much more likely to need care later in life.
- The Caregiver Double-Whammy: Women often step out of the workforce to care for aging parents or spouses, reducing their own retirement savings, only to end up needing care themselves without a built-in caregiver.
- The Cost: Traditional health insurance and Medicare don’t cover standard long-term care (like assisted living or home health aides), which can quickly drain a lifetime of savings.
What Attendees Will Walk Away With:
- The difference between health insurance, Medicare, and long-term care coverage.
- Strategies to protect personal assets and maintain independence.
- How to start conversations with family members about future care wishes.
